Melanie

Melanie was born in Maine and moved to Henderson when she was eight. She has always had a deep love and passion for animals. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2004. Melanie honorably served in the Army Reserves for over eight years with a Medical Support Unit. She received her Associate of Science Degree with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude from Penn Foster College. After graduation Melanie immediately took and passed her VTNE exams to become Nationally Credentialed, and acquired her licensed in the State of Nevada to practice as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Melanie loves learning and is passionate about science, and the practice of medicine. Her goal is to provide the best support and nursing care for Veterinarians, and all animals she encounters. Melanie has a special passion for animal physical therapy and rehabilitation. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband, two children, friends, and all of the furry family members while camping, boating, and riding at the sand dunes.
