Kelly
Kelly was born and raised in Northern California and has had a lifelong love of animals. Her interest in veterinary medicine started when she was 8 years old and learned how to care for the diabetic family dog. She started off working on a horse ranch at age 11 and local pet stores in high school, and expanded into volunteering in animal rescue with her family at the age of 12, which continues to this day. She has worked on horse and sheep ranches, a goat dairy in Hawaii, and raised both sheep and chickens through FFA in high school. In addition to taking Vet Tech classes at the local junior college, she received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from California State University, Chico in 2016. During her free time, she loves to travel, hike, swim, garden, and find time for adventures! Kelly has two cats, Sergeant Tibbs and Archie, and her family dogs, a Pitbull named Toby and a blind Rottweiler named Luna. She enjoys emergency medicine because she is not only able to help sick animals but gets to be there for and help owners during stressful and difficult times.
