Our Veterinary Team
Danielle was born in Fort Hood, TX, and has been in Las Vegas, NV from the age of 5. She has been with us for over a year bringing her love for animals with her. As a Veterinary Assistant, she assists the doctors in caring and treating all the babies that come through our door. Growing up, she had three of the cutest dachshunds. Over the years her love for treating animals has continued to grow. The most rewarding part of her job is sending pets home healthy to their parents.
When Danielle is not working, she loves going on hikes, hanging with friends, and going to local concerts. Her plans are to obtain a technicians’ license where she will be able to expand her knowledge in the veterinary field.
Jon has been with LVAEH since 2017. He has been a Veterinary Assistant since 2012. Jon loves monitoring anesthesia and warming treatments. Besides saving animals Jon enjoys working on cars, playing music, and exploring nature. Jon is passionate about emergency medicine and would like to end up in a penguin habitat.
Luis is one of our Veterinary Assistants. He has been in the field for 5 years and is working on becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. He displays the care and joy of treating different kinds of animals and shows eagerness to learn and grow more as a Veterinary Assistant. When he is not working, he tends to his 3-year-old Akita named Koda. As well as helping his parents care for their goats, roosters, and chickens.
Veronica is the type of individual who is seizing every opportunity that she can to learn on-the form and continue to grow by constantly expanding her knowledge base. She takes the phrase “you learn something new every day” to a whole other level. She's working a mixture of overnight emergency swing + graveyard shifts, for on-going ER experience to keep her mind just as sharp as the fast-paced environment that she works in. Veronica strongly believes that what she has learned in the past few years working in all different realms of the veterinary field that she can truly make a difference. She has a true desire to succeed and be a team player, as well as a treaty place of work as if it was her own home, always trying to do better and improve it, in a way, shape, or form, for teamwork truly does make the dream work! And when given the chance she likes to prove to herself as well as her employer that she can indeed make that difference in a pet or pet parents like. They say you never work a day in your life if you love what you do, and she honestly believes that if you’re going to do something, you should do it with passion or not at all.
Ashley has worked in the veterinary field for 13 years and ran a surgical ward for 5 years. She is now working on becoming a licensed veterinary technician. She is grateful to work beside a knowledgeable staff that also knows how to make their job fun! She loves all fur babies and looks forward to helping your pet through any situation they may come across. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her 7yr old son, 2 dogs, and 2 cats as well as continuing to learn how to play the piano.
Jimmy started in veterinary medicine in the summer of 6th grade. His father knew a veterinarian who allowed him to work over the summer in Compton, California. After high school, he worked in multiple veterinary hospitals in the Los Angeles area for about 6 years and then moved to Fresno. There he learned how to work with large animals, exotics, and birds. After a few years, he moved to Las Vegas, where he loves working at emergency veterinary hospitals- the part of Veterinary Medicine he truly enjoys!
Natalie has been involved with animals since she was a child. She grew up with a variety of exotics, including guinea pigs, gerbils, and birds. She also grew up with cats. She spent much of her time growing up at her grandparent's farm where she handled and showed goats, sheep, cattle, and horses. All this exposure to animals solidified her desire to work with animals growing up. Although she is working as a VA now, she is currently in school to be a vet tech and will hopefully go back to school to finish our pre-vet prerequisites and continue on to obtain her DVM. She moved from Illinois to Vegas right before the pandemic, so she hasn't been able to explore much, but she is looking forward to getting to know Vegas more as it opens up. She also loves to travel and is looking forward to the world opening back up so she can see all there is to see. Natalie lives life to the fullest and really loves making connections with people and animals alike. In her free time, she likes to hang around with friends and family, read and play video games. She currently has a mini zoo at home featuring 3 dogs named Odin, Petey, and Poppy, 3 sugar gliders, and 2 snakes. She really looks forward to growing at the Las Vegas Animal Emergency Hospital!

Photo coming soon!
I was in Vegas during Thanksgiving when my poodle mix, Bella, possibly ate some chicken bones at a relative's place. The staff was fantastic and showed their concern. X-rays showed a possible small bone that already made its way to the stomach. The vet reassured us that it probably would pass and it should not be a problem. Thank God everything turned out fine.
IT WAS BEFORE 1 AM. I CALLED ENROUTE. THE STAFF WAS WAITING AND ACTED FAST.OUR CAT KIKO WAS IN RESPIRATORY ARREST. HIS LUNGS WERE FILLED WITH FLUID. HE PASSED ON PEACEFULLY. THE VET WAS HONEST AND THERE WAS NO NEED FOR AGGRESSIVE RESUSCITATION. THEY WERE CARING AND SYMPATHETIC. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CARE. HE WAS 17 AND GAVE US MANY YEARS OF JOY AND LOVE.
Thank you to the wonderful staff for trying to bring my baby back!!!!
We just left there. Our cat unfortunately passed away 5 minutes before we arrived. The care that was given was beyond exceptional. They tried to bring him back it was too late. They allowed us to stay with him for as long as we wanted.. They had him wrapped in a blanket in a cat bed like he was sleeping. Thank you to the wonderful staff for trying to bring my baby back!!!!
I can’t tell you how wonderful these folks are. I had just had surgery and my new fur baby got a hold of a controlled substance. My regular vet ( Dr Jonathan Snead) told me where to go. Staff met me in the parking lot and took my Skyye inside. They saved her life and she came home the next evening. Dr. Snead checked on her and worked with the hospital staff to be sure my girl received the best of care. They really deserve 10 stars!!
